Ghost Hawk Brewing Co

Passaic County's first craft brewery

GRAND OPENING - SATURDAY, aPRIL 20TH

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY @ 12:45pm

POURING BEERS @ 1PM

Brewmaster Chris Sheehan has been hard at work, crafting a delicious lineup of beers for our grand opening. We’ve been lucky enough to taste everything ahead of time, and New Jersey is in for a real treat when we open our doors for the first time on April 20th.

BREWER’S TASTING NOTES AFTER THE JUMP:

GHOST HAWK LAGER / (5% ABV, 23 IBU)

Brewed according to the German Beer Purity Law of 1516 using imported malts and American noble hops, this golden export lager is balanced and satisfying. It’s the perfect beer to wash down a Ripper or enjoy with your favorite pizza.

DAEDALION / (4% ABV, 12 IBU)
(Prounounced "day-dale-lien")

Named after a character from Ovid’s Metamorphoses who was transformed into a hawk by Apollo, this American-style Wheat Ale will soar into your heart with a feathery touch of Crystal hops that round out the refreshing, bready character derived from wheat and our special blended yeast.

CHERRY DAEDALION / (4% ABV, 12 IBU)

The addition of Michigan-grown Montmorency tart cherries to our “crushable” wheat ale transforms it into a crisp and fruity delight.

APEX PREDATOR / (6% ABV, 46 IBU)

At the top of the food chain this New England-style IPA will sink its talons into your palate with loads of fruity character derived from El Dorado, Mosaic, Equanot and Citra hops.

TROUBLE IPA / (9.3% ABV, 54 IBU)

Somewhere between a triple and double IPA is where you’ll find Trouble. The main conspirators are Simcoe and Lotus but three other hops are accomplices in creating a calamity of flavors, including pronounced notes of honeydew melon and pineapple.

RAVENDARK / (7.3% ABV, 18 IBU)

The aggressive use of roasted grains on top of Irish malt lend the intense and complex flavors of coffee and cocoa to this mighty foreign-style stout. It will transport you to a dark realm where you just might feel Immortal.
