We’re dropping two special ones this week! First up is our annual tribute to the original Ghost Hawk himself… my brother, Danny.

Danny left us nearly a decade ago… and if you had the pleasure of knowing him, you knew he loved buffalo plaid, 90s metal/hardcore, and hawks, of course. He was the life of any party and it still feels strange as hell that he’s not a regular at the taproom he inspired. But he’s always there in spirit… you can still see his guitar hanging in the back of our taproom, right next to the Hawk Talk neon sign.

For the first few years, we relabeled 20 cases of Apex as a limited-edition charity release. Starting last year, the Hawk Talk project grew into its own dedicated batch… served on draft and going out for full distro. We’re switching up the hops every year and this 2025 batch with Chinook, Azacca, Alora, and Nelson is tasting fantastic.

Proceeds from this release will be donated in Danny’s name to our good friends at @theraptortrust in Millington, NJ. This volunteer bird sanctuary does incredible work with injured birds from across the state. Be sure to give them a follow and stop by if you’re ever in the Great Swamp area.
